Weekend!!

It's the beginning of the weekend and we finished the recording a little earlier than planned! That's wonderful!
It's been quite heavy for a few days, I've been really tired in the evenings, just fallen to bed and slept 'til morning and back to work again. But the concentration payed off, it sounded really good and now we're back in the working mode, so here we come Spring!!

Here's a few pictures from these past few days. We had proper lunch breaks so it was good to walk outside a little and have a cup of tea in a really nice café!
It's all good, I feel glad, and it'll be good to continue on Monday with a new program. But before that it's the weekend! Hooray!!

Design Forum Helsinki

Good Morning!
Work has started and I'm getting used to having some kind of rhythym in my life! Altough I must say it's so heavenly to go to bed early, read a while and just fall to sleep. I'm an early bird, always have been, and it really is nice to wake up before the shock of an alarm clock, so I think this season will start nice and smooth, I hope so!
The rest of the week we have long days but Yesterday I had time to take care of some errands and on my way stopped by the Design Forum in Erottaja. It's a nice place with a small café with exellent cakes and such! In the shop itself they've got a lot of different things from clothes to decorations and jewellery. There's Paola Suhonen, there's Costo, Eero Aarnio etc., but also newer names. It's so fun to see how innovative the designers are. You might think that everything's been invented already but little do we know really! And recycling is big, which is a good thing! I snapped a few photos, have a look and a good day my friends!

12th Day of Christmas

As the song says we were celebrating the last day of Christmas! A brunch it was and the dearest of all came to our place! So nice, I just love gatherings like these! Love being the hostess and seeing my dearest friends enjoy! We had loads to eat, the kids watched some Japanese quality Ghibly studio productions, and everybody had it good! My dearest friends, I love you guys!!
Let's continue towards the new year, together always!!

Sunshine!

Today's been a beautiful day! We've seen the sun properly for a long time! Nice to know it's still there!
I drove over to my Mother's, collected her, and together we went to visit my Grandmother. Such a nice moment with tea, coffee and treats! She's adorable as I've told you earlier! We had a good chat between us ladies, one of my aunts was there as well. Nice!
Now we're just relaxing home after some late lunch, maybe a nap next to my sweetheart! See you later!

Hand & nails

Good Morning!
This will be a good day in spite of the constant rain! Work is already in my mind, it's a good sign when you've rested enough and there's space in your mind for new things! I also have an appointment for hairdresser today, which is always nice!
This will be a beauty post since I'm super exited about my new hand balm I got from China! This is also a label from South Korea, Skin Food, and we found a place where they sold these. I got myself this one and a facial mask which I haven't tried on yet, but this hand balm is wonderful! Really nutritious and rich, perfect for dry winter hands!
I made myself a little manicure the other day since I've just been inside, and used my favourite shade of the moment in nail polish, no. 91, Reno, from Mavala. I love Mavala products, they're good and lasting and the small bottle is so handy! You can have several shades and they don't dry out.

Fashion photography & good tea

Today I decided to get outside. I'm still feeling a bit numb but a little better and thought being sick is enough now! Something small to start with, so I headed to a photo exhibition which has been on my to-do-list since it opend in December. It's called Northern Women in Chanel and consists of fashion photographs of Nordic supermodels taken by a Swedish-Hungarian couple. The pictures are really beautiful and it's all Chanel. Oh, Chanel..c'est magnifique! Go there if you got interested, it's open until 27th of January. Our own girls Suvi Koponen and Kirsi Pyrhönen are also represented! Laboratory, Erottaja 9.

Afterwards I needed a cup of good tea, so I went to Café Fleuriste on Uudenmaankatu. Now this is something I call a Café! I love the shades, the beautiful chandelier and table wear, the white Labrador who welcomes every guest, and the flower shop in the back room! So pretty! I'm feeling the energy starting to flow again, this was a good start!

New Year, new tricks?

Hello my friends! There's been no change over here in my condition, exept that I got my voice back. The cough is horrific and I'm afraid I'll wake up the whole building at night! Ah well, it's okay, but the problem is I wouldn't want to lie down anymore. It's a new year and I've got many new things in mind! Luckily work doesn't start until next week.
Yesterday my husband took me out for a pizza! It was good to leave the house for a while and he always makes me laugh, gets me in a better mood, as you can see! We went to Dennis's around the corner. I think it's a little suspicious that being originally from Turku and having a Saku Koivu-pizza on the menu, they advertise an IFK-pasta in the table! We were wondering is it then Kärpät-pasta in Oulu, or Blues-pasta in Espoo, and what does Jokerit say about that?? Maybe they don't go to Dennis's. But it was a good pizza and we got our stomachs full!
