Last days of summer!

Even though it's hard to admit, I think we have to say goodbye to those sweet, carefree summer days and warm sunbeams.
Work has started and now the rain came, but it's still warm and very cosy.

In way I accept it, I feel like this is how it should go. Deep down I'm one with nature, I understand the changes of the seasons, they're built inside me, and I know now it's the time to move on.
Dear Autumn, be sweet to us!

But before that let's take a look what's been going on during these last weeks!

I visited dear friends's and cute goddaughter's summer place, and like every year, this time was no exception: a lot of sunshine, good food, lots of joy!!

The last days in Tampere, where sweet husband's summer project came to its' end.

Our favourite, Vohvelikahvila!
Waffels with fresh blueberries, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream...criminal!!

Back home the house got new layers of fresh paint!
Beautiful!

Then my sweet American friend came for another excursion of our very own Helsinki-day-special!
You remember we started from Kallio in the spring, now we went to Punavuori!
It was such a beautiful day, we fit well together, have similar thoughts and get along so well. Time flew by while we chatted away walking, sitting in a park and having lunch!

It's not so easy or simple to make friends anymore when you get older, and by that I mean real friends, true friends. Life is busy, people are busy, work dominates our lives and the whole world is so hectic that it's rare to make a true connection with new people. But when it happens it's such a wonderful thing!
Like a refreshing wave, a reminder of how we are supposed to live life in the middle of our routines: sharing, laughing, talking, connecting with each other.
Thank you dear for a wonderful day!!

We also checked out the flea market in Hietsu

...and the next day which was Yesterday I had a date with my eldest goddaughter, and we went back!
I made finds! Look!

Cool sneakers, like fish skin, silvery sparks!
Plus nice jewellery...

We had a lovely day, she's adorable, started high school just now. I'm intrigued to see where this beautiful, talented young woman ends up! Am so proud of her!

Let's have a good start of the week, my friends, inspite the rain. It'll give us fresh, clean air to breathe and make the home life atmospheric!
Be welcomed, sweet Autumn!
