Sweet Notting Hill!

Today I went Notting Hill. This is one of the places I always have to come, love the relaxed feel to it, the market in Portobello Road, the cafés, pubs and restos, the colourful houses!
You know that the owner of THE house with the blue door had to paint it black because of the flooding tourists! I think it's hilarious! But the movie is also one of my all-time favourites, a total feel-good-pamper-yourself-flick, yay!

Here's what I saw:

First is breakfast!
English youghurts take my tounge away! Rich and creamy is the way!

The vintage- and second-hand-shops are alluring!

Popped in at Oxfam's, and this one's got Jimmy Choo, Christian Lacroix and Escada shoes! Too bad my feet are so bloody big!

Day of shopping!

...and walking, and shopping, and walking, and...

Started from Knightsbridge...

...Harvey Nichols!

Stopped at the Fifth Floor Foodmarket, heavenly!

Liquid lunch!
Have to say I've never had a smoothie with broccoli and spinach in it but it was good!

Chlidren's fashion, London style!

Afternoon tea made of fresh mint, amazing!

My finds under wraps, I'll show them later! Supersales going on over here, this is what a season sale really means! Made such good bargains, bought souvenirs, was gasping breath! I texted my sister to come and get me out of here, I'm going mad!!

Drinks & dinner with friends who start coming in one by one for the wedding!

Last but not least, some toilet-poetry is always in order!

Sore feet!

I must've walked a hundered miles Yesterday! But they were all good ones!
I started from Hampstead, my dream village, had breakfast and wandered my way slowly down to Camden.
I love the shops on Hampstead High Street! Proper high street-stores not so common in Finland. I'm so full of the Swedish mafia that we have at home (even though I just shopped at COS!), so it's refreshing to pop in Reiss, Maje, Tara Jarmon, French Connection and others! I was drewling over the bags at Zadig&Voltaire and the waffles at the famous Hampstead Creperie! Beautiful!

Last stop of the day was Selfridges! I'm after the perfect black cross body bag, so I carefully went through the sections while gasping breath at Chanel, Dior, Bottega Veneta and Chloé-departments...oijoijoi! Oh the feel of a quality leather!
Finally ended up at the Food Hall, which is criminal! Bought some tea and treats, hopped in a bus that took me to the hotel, and I was done!! Phew!

Love/hate the tube!

Sweet Hampstead forever!

I'm so happy these ancient things still exist! And they work too! Put a smile on my face, always!

I had a hard core veggie lunch by the canal in Camden: seaweed, cellery, all sorts of beans, cabbage and salad!

I want the pink ones, the yellow, the purple, the leopard, the white and...

Oh dear!!

Back at the hotel, dinner is being served!

Today I've already had breakfast with my handsome cousin who lives just a few blocks from my hotel and works here in London. I gave him Fazer Blue chocolate and am about to hit South Kensington, King's Road, Sloane Street and Harvey Nichols, wohoo! A little scary though!
Stay tuned my friends!
