Friends and sunshine, what else do you need for the last moments of holiday?!
We've visited a few different beaches, here we go:
Eiranranta
This relatively new beach is a little stony, but does the job brilliantly!
A few steps towards Hernesaari there's a new café: Birgitta
It was such a nice place with an excellent salad and beautiful interior!
Modern and a lot of wood, fits perfectly to the surroundings. Definitely worth visiting.
Check out the outer surface of the café, it's burnt wood!
Never seen it being used like this, very cool!
You can also order a pot of sangria and sit on the terrace right next to the sea!
Dear friend was visiting from the UK, it was just perfect to sit for hours and enjoy the Finnish summer!
Miss you dear already!!
Pihlajasaari
This is one of our favourite spots in Helsinki!
A cooling 15-minute ferry ride away lies an oasis for the city people where you always find your own quiet spot even though the island would be packed!
The island's restaurant is in an old villa.
Mustikkamaa
My favourite from last year!
It felt so sweet to be there and think about all the things that have happened since the last visit!
I love this place! It's still a perfect bike ride away even though we've moved.
