Berlin in 16 hours!

Greetings from Kaunas, Lithuania!

We came Yesterday from Warsaw, after a whopping 9-hour bus ride and small bumpy roads! 

But the sun is shining bright and there's been time to walk a little which is the sweetest thing for our swollen feet, whole bodies, actually!

This is a beautiful town with old buildings, churches, narrow streets and cute cafés!

But back to Berlin for a moment!

We were there for less than 24 hours and it made me feel like a kid in a candystore with no money! 

But professionals as we are, we had a full house and one of the greatest gigs of the whole tour in Tempodrom, AND made a quick visit to Bergmannstraße, my favourite place! Efficiency was the word!

Tempodrom is a cool venue, it was amazing with our boudoir-like dressingrooms!

And off to Kreuzberg after soundcheck!

I sat down for a Frische Mintze in sweet Café Molinari!

Early next morning we drove to Warsaw:

I think this building was the perfect place for some serious metal music!

The audience was great, those screaming teenage girls in the front row with adoring eyes moved me down to tears! I could so recognise myself there a long time ago!

Here we are, in Warsaw, Poland, at the moment!

Internet connections have been poor since the day we left but now it seems to work, yay!

Oh, I don't know where to begin!

It's been unbelievable!

We've played for amazing audiences, BIG halls, and created unforgettable memories!

The group of people on this tour is just awesome, and since we're together all the time, it's been wicked fun!!

You kind of fall into this space where there's no time or outer world, just us, the bus, and the ever changing cities, venues and hotels.

This morning we woke up in Berlin, traveled the day to Warsaw and soon go on stage with a full house again!

We've seen screaming fans, endless energy and big emotions both in the audience and on stage, something I that is so unique and will connect us forever from this moment on.

It's just amazing. Pure gold.

We had time to walk and take it easy, and everywhere I looked, I saw Berlin, oh Berlin my love!

Which was there next in line waiting for us!

Sunshine to everyone!

On the road!

My life for the past week plus one week ahead from today is something totally different I've ever experienced!

We're on tour with the prestigious chamber orchestra Avanti! PLUS the awesome heavy metal cello ensemble Apocalyptica!!

It's been crazy fun, the guys are so talented and full of energy, it's just freakin' amazing!

Tomorrow we'll be on our way to Russia, to St. Petersburg, and from that moment on we'll play in halls with 2000 people in the audience minimum!

I wonder how it feels to play Brahms after this...

But for now I'm all leather pants and super high heels, wohooo!

Must get some sleep now, wanted to let you know what's going on!

It's weekend, yay!

Another week full of work behind us, and now a moment just for us and our sweet home!

Dear husband put fire to the fireplace, we love it!! Superatmospheric!!

It's been quite busy but luckily there's ALWAYS a little time to look around and steal a moment or two to yourself!

You all remember to do that too? 

It's important, we deserve it, it makes us smile and even more radiant, right??!!

And especially today when it's a signature day for all women around the world! Yes, we really are worth it!

So, while I was in Lahti this week I came across something very unexpected: Kusmi-tea!!

You can't even get it here in Helsinki!! Or if you do, please let me know 'cause then I've just completely fallen off the tea-map!

So at that moment I definitely thought I was worth this special mix of Chinese green tea and almond!

Oh yes indeed I was, and it's gooood!!

Petit St. Louis is the name of this lifestyle shop, and besides Kusmi, they have clothes, Marvis-dental care line, and all things exclusive! 

Plus a beautiful tile-floor which they ordered all the way from Morocco! I was really impressed! Beautiful!

Yummy!

And Yesterday I gave my new Marimekko-thights an outing in our sweet city of Helsinki!

It's been a while since my last visit to Marikylä, but these colourful things are bound to make me go back pretty soon!

I had a coffee/tea-date with my dear friend in Museokatu's Exhibitionists, so lovely!

Now let's enjoy the weekend everyone!!

A new week!

Good Morning!

I've gone through the busiest days for a while, and feel tired already this Monday morning... 

So much for those free moments with sunshine! But at least I seized the moment when I had the chance because now work has completely taken over everything else!

But something very exiting is coming up soon, and I can't wait to take you with me!!

I'll tell you more when it's time but here's a little preview!
