A small crisis & the last day!

For heaven's sake I've been so irritated these past days!!
Something went wrong again with the application for the blog and I couldn't post pictures! Words were ok but pictures not. I started to upload them to my computer for a post and it occurred that not only is the hard drive completely full, it needs some kind of an update so that my phone can connect with it, and once I tried to upload it, it tells me it's too old for that!!
My sweet, pretty white Macbook has gotten too old!!
It's been with me for seven years!
Maybe that means ancient but it still works just fine!
It bugs me that these things go forward so fast that now it seems all I can do is buy a new one! Or actually, they're MAKING me do so if I still want my gadgets to be in synch. And what's more important to me than my music and my photos?? Well a few things alright but still!
Maybe it's me who's ancient. Anti-computer-hi-fi-non-specialist me. Crap. That's what I'll say.
Anyhow, I sent feedback to google and honestly I don't know was it that or something else but now the app seems to be fine! But the issue with the computer still worries me a bit. Let's see.

But the best part is being home again!!
Quite jet-lagged but safe and sound, and in my darling husband's arms!!
It's been wonderful, I've gotten to sleep a lot, unwind and breathe the fresh autumn air of our sweet homeland which I love so much!!
Sandals changed into rubber boots but that's fine. I'm home now and this is where my heart is, this is where I belong.

Now some pics from our last day in Rio!
As I told you we had a sightseeing tour planned. It was amazing. We went all the way up to the Sugarloaf Mountain to see some breathtaking views!
We took a cable car, first 250m to the first hill, then 350m to the mountain itself. It was quite a rise, I couldn't look down at all. But once there the scene in front of us was amazing!

Destination Sugarloaf!

You can see the Cristo Redentor opposite on the other side. It looked really small but there it was!

Copacabana!

On the way down the sky started to clear up!

...just in time for a visit to the Copacabana beach this time in daylight!

Afterwards there was still time for lunch and the last caipirinhas in some really beautiful cafès!
Off we went to the airport and the plane that took us home!

Thank you sweeties!!!
