Here I am, safe and sound but quite tired, to be honest! Jet lag is heavy but we've had time to recover.
Tonight is our first concert, we'll experience the beautiful and prestige Teatro Colón for two nights in a row! Exiting and wonderful!
The traveling day took almost 24 hours from door to door but a beautiful hotel room was waiting here, and once I woke up it was a warm and sunny spring day outside! Actually I could sleep only for about four hours, my rhythm was all messed up, but a free day with a sightseeing ride was ok to handle!
Our agents here organised the sightseeing, and it was so good! We got a good idea of where we've come, saw and heard about history, beauty and the way of life of the porteños, the inhabitants of this passionate city.
I'll start the slide show, pictures will do the talking!
My morning started with a good work out at the gym in the 23rd floor with a view over the city...
First stop was the beautiful and amazing cemetery of La Recoleta.
It is a little town of its' own with narrow streets and the graves being little houses with altars, flowers and the caskets inside. It was a beautiful place!
The biggest attraction is the grave of Evita and her family.
It felt amazing to see all that.
Next we went to La Boca, the heart of Tango... Oh!
It was amazing to see all those colours, hear the sweet sound of a bandoneon and walk down the little streets!
Olen aina AINA halunnut mennä Buenos Airesiin!
